Artist’s Statement:

My paintings are influenced by the natural world around us... water, air landscapes, the universe, plant life, windstorms - all the elements.

Combining the power of nature and the energy of colour, I am inspired to paint what I feel at the moment. Sometimes it's the pure use of colour that drives what I do on the canvas. Using palette knives, brushes and other objects, the patterns I create reveal the energy in nature. I love the movement of wind and water, the power in space, the innate energy that exists in everything in the natural world.
