Christine Chown

Visual art has been an enriching activity for forty years.   Representational drawing and painting have been woven through my life as a student, a nurse, and as a mother.

Three years ago, I made the decision to explore creating designs from within, rather than from outside influences.    This requires "listening" to the painting surface and responding,   a new and exciting adventure,    a challenge to "......surprise the hungry eye".  (John O'Donohue).

This will, I trust, be another way to share the joy of our world's colours and forms.
